[ARCHIVED THREAD] - Bolt Catch not working

New build, bolt catch not holding the bolt.

DSA Lower, DPMs LPK, DPMS Upper, DPMS BCG

Magazines used: Pmag 30, Pmag20, USGI, Western

Bolt with not lock back when manually cycling charging handle with any empty mag in the well. Have not had any ammo through it yet.

Bolt catch moves freely with no rough spots in its movement. I did notice that the bolt catch wiggles side to side slightly when the bolt slides over it instead of being caught.

Best option just to replace the bolt catch and hope for better luck? New bolt catch and shims?

Bad bolt catch or out of spec lower.

Seen that thread. Ended up putting the lower on a different upper and all was OK. Put the problem upper on a different lower and all was OK. So just changed how they were paired for good.
