Relatively new to the Ar-15.......While shooting yesterday, (Carbine, RRA Lower/YHM Upper) second round would not eject.  First round in each attempt works fine, second won't eject.  I wasn't getting the good Sproing on the second.  I had been shooting steel case Monarch, but only about 10rds when the problem started.  I tore it down and checked for build-up in the chamber........clean.  Nothing gummy or sticky.  Then in handling the rifle, noticed that the Gas-block set-screws had backed out, and the block would slide forward on the allignment pin.  Could this be causing the problem........allowing enough blow-bye to keep it from cycling the second round, and if so, why will the first round work perfectly?

Any advice Appreciated!!!

Yes, the block screws need to be tight, and even Blue Loctite'd in place.
