i have a 16" cabine with f/a bcg and regular buffer! should i use h or h2 what about h3 buffer? will it harm the rifle if i stay with regular buffer.....???how about the recoil spring..are they all same...

Don't need to get into heaver buffers until you start trying to run bullet around 69grs or heaver through the rifle as a standard.
On the same token, if the rifle is over gassed, then heaver buffers come into play to slow the unlock down to nomal as well (same as the above since the heaver bullets use a slower burning powder, creating more gas pressue at unlock due to the longer dwell time down the barrel, hence the reason that you go to a heaver buffer for such in the first place). If you are going to run ammo in the 55/62gr, standard carbine buffer should be fine. |
