Crush washer or peel washer.  You can use a peel washer and take off layers until you get the right timing on the Comp.

Either a crush/peel washer, a lock nut or face the rear of the comp until it indexes correctly.

if your 'gunsmith' doesn't know how to index a comp., find a new one pronto.

I did this by stoning the end of the comp to clock.  I think it looks cleaner, but can't always be done.    " target="_blank">

Miculek comes with a lock nut, you should be able to time it easily.Personally I but a drop of BLUE thread lock on barrel threads after turning lock nut all the way down. Then screw comp all the way down against the nut backing it off till it is timed. Let it set overnight for thread lock to hold it in place then tighten nut up against it. Use BLUE so you can easily remove it if you decide to change it. It just holds the comp in place so you can turn lock nut up to it with wrench and it will never shoot loose but can be easily removed.
