So I purchased a Tapco FS tool, I go to adjust the FS and it does not push down the spring loaded pin so that I can adjust the sight... So I have to push the pin down with a screwdriver in order to adjust the sight....   So what is up with this??  TIA

There is the A-1 front sight tool, and then the A-2 sight tool (different number of prongs since each sight has a different number of notches).

If the prongs match on the sight and tools, then chances are the tool is not mating correctly with the notches to allow the tool to flush out with the top of the sight.

Have seen quite a a few sight tools that aren't deep enough to accommodate the height of the post.
