Whenever I pull the charging handle back on my ar, it gets stuck.  It used to be very hard to pull it back and it was VERY difficult to remove the BCG since it would get stuck on the handle.  I corrected a few of these problems by really oiling the hell out of it nearly drenching it.  But the handle still gets stuck.  ITs got a CAA buffer spring that came with the stock. Heres a pic.

I will more than likely repalce the spring and see if it brings any benefit.

Pull the spring and check the end of winds for protruding burs that may be scrapping down either the inside of the tube, or binding on the buffer.

Also, pull the Butt stock off the end of the tube and try again, since the charging handle may be binding up on the top of the receiver back plate as well.

Check the front part of the charging handle that engages the small shoulder on the top/front of the bolt carrier for wear. This is where the two 90 degree shoulders engage. If the charge handle is worn here this will let it move rearward past it's intended position and wedge into the top of the upper and onto the gas key making it difficult to charge and remove from the rifle. Also look at the small bump on the top/forward end of the charge handle and into the charge handle slot in the upper for drag marks.

That's exactly what was wrong.  Thanks.

I had the same exact issue on my build while dry-fitting... the aluminum DPMS charging handle quickly lost it's shape and jams up my bcg the same as yours. I've ordered a forged steel PRi CH and hopefully it serves me well
