I was shooting my Del-Ton Inc. AR-15 yesterday and on some trigger pulls it would shoot 2 rounds. 1 pull = 2 rounds but not all the time. About 50% of the time it would shoot true Semi-Auto. It has all of the stock lower receiver parts (No Upgrades). Anyone have a suggestion to get this to shoot legally again? Thanks in advance.

Others have had this problem and if I remember correctly you should double check the hammer spring to make sure it is installed correctly.  I'm not completely sure that is the issue but it couldn't hurt to check.

Go to the 'build it yourself' forum and go thru the trigger group install section. Strip out your trigger group and put it back together like the pics in the forum show. BSW

Even though it seems like it is shooting 2 rounds on 1 pull it probably is bump firing.  I don't believe it is possible to do actual full auto without the full auto trigger parts.  (school me if I am wrong guys)
I have a designated .410 upper for my AR that bump fires 2-3 rounds often when wing shooting because I am not holding it tight against my shoulder.  Maybe holding it tighter?

A worn disconnect or hammer will cause this. Is there any worn or chipped parts?  It’s just not catching the hammer every time.

Make sure the disconnector spring is installed correctly.

Thanks for the quick response. I will check the trigger group later today. I cleaned everything yesterday when I got home and didn't notice any worn or chipped parts.

Disco spring installs large coil side down,

And once you have reinstalled the fire control group to make sure you have it right, I need one measurement from you.

With the trigger at rest and upper shotgunned open, cock the hammer back until it's rear sear gets as close to the disco sear as possible, then tell me the amount of gap you have between the two sear (again, with the trigger at rest).

I'm looking for something like .001 to .003" for the free gap, and if larger, you may need to retime the disconnector to solve the problem.
