I developed a very accurate load in my AR it is 25.5 gr. of H335 behind a Hornady 60 gr. bullet (#2275).  The problem I am experiencing is I’m getting a dent in the case about 1/3 up from the base.  The dent is caused by the case deflector.  I am concerned about case life.  None of my other loads have this problem with the dents but they do not shoot as tight.

Would a stronger ejector spring or buffer spring or both reduce the possibility of the case dents?  

I’m thinking if I slow down the bolt the ejector would kick out the case sooner in the travel and not contact the defector.

Honestly I wouldn't worry about it. You are only going to get so many loadings anyway and the number for SA is generally less than for a bolt gun. If you insist a heavier buffer would probably be the way to go.

Case being defected off the defector and being dented is normal, but if wish to do something about it,

Velcro on the defector to soften the blow off of it,

Or,

Clip the ejector spring (one coil at a time with testing) until the ejection path of the spent case is forward out of the ejection port.
Note: don't go buck wild and over clip all at once.  You want the ejection path just slightly forward, and if you over clip the spring, the spent case will never clear the port, causing a nasty jam as the mouth of the case gets shoved into the front of the ejection port.

This will do it, but clip off HALF a coil at a time.  Takes longer, but ensures you're not clipping off more than necessary.  But really, if the dent is on the body, and it's not real gnarly, I wouldn't worry about it - it won't impact your case life.  The only way I imagine case life could be decreased is if the dent is really deep and it keeps happening in the exact same spot, which would mean that that tiny section of brass keeps getting worked real far back and forth (with the case expansion upon firing then the dent upon ejecting).  That would make that spot weak.  But since that piece of brass will likely be in a different position each time it is fired (what are the odds it would keep ending up in the same position over and over and over again), it's not something to be concerned about.  Unless we're talking a HUGE dent.  That said, I was getting HUGE dents on the shoulders, and they took up about a quarter of the circumfrence, so it was an issue for me, and I cut down the ejector spring.  Problem solved.

i took auto black high temp silicone and built up a pad of it on the brass deflector. it fixed the dent problems

Heavier buffer (H3) worked for my build which had same problem.  Plus it had the bonus of reducing recoil.
