Hi,
One of my Stag mags is not dropping on my brand new Double Star lower built.  I have 2 other C-Products mags and those drop fine, loaded or unloaded.  Any suggestions on what to check for?  The problem mag is new also.

Thanks for any help.

Mag body is probably slightly too wide.

If you have calipers, etc, post a measurement of the magazine at the top, fore and aft and side to side.

I barely have a measuring tape, just for dinner pics!  But seriously, the mag goes in fine,  it just doesn't drop at all, I have to wiggle it out of the mag well...

I have had magazines stick on the mag catch because it wasn't clearing the magazine well when I pushed on the mag catch button.  Look in the magazine well as you push the magazine catch button and note if the catch clears the well.  If it doesn't, your magazine may stick on the portion of the catch that is still inside the mag well.  If so, easy fix: push the magazine catch (release) button in far enough so that the magazine catch is away from the receiver on the other side.  Turn the mag catch one rotation and then try it and see if the magazine drops free.

If the mag catch appears to be properly adjusted, then it seems your magazine is the problem.
