| Proper cleaning and lubing before the first session is always a nice thing to do to help prevent issues. Shooting so half way decent ammo to start off with is also not a bad idea and leave the Wolf at home until you have at least a couple hundred rounds down the pipe. |

I did clean and lube, but maybe needed to clean and lube more vigorously?
I do hope it's an ammo issue, though I read many threads boasting how the writer's AR used Wolf ammo without probs. I did not get ANY warranty document with my upper, and never imagined Wolf ammo voids the warranty. Nothing broke anyway except the cartridge rim, and I am not returning an upper for one incident of a stuck case. I will check the website for warranty info and any break-in advice. I did not expect such a finnicky piece of equipment. Any useful advice? Just shoot a couple of hundred rounds of brass cased ammo? |

Congratulations on voiding your warranty.
Found it! You're right, it does void the warranty, though the info was a bit hidden. That is weak! Any brands that are OK with Wolf/steel cased ammo? Just don't tell them you used wolf ammo, how are they going to know. |
