Cleaned my AR for the first time since i started reloading  and noticed some minor pitting in the bolt face. The pitting seems to be in a small circle around the hole where the firing pin comes through like where the primer sits against the bolt face when a round is chambered. My guess is that some of my primers werent properly seated and that the gas from the burning powder is coming back through small gaps in between the base of the shell casing and the primer. Anyone else experience this or know how to fix it?

it's normal wear and tear.

You're probably right about the cause. I suspect it's gas cutting from primer leakage. Unless it gets fairly extensive. I wouldn't worry about it.

Normal.

The TM has a spec for how big the pits can be before the bolt is US.
