 so my Stag lower, CMMG trigger/parts Kit, Bushmaster Upper all get together after months of research, e/m's, GunBroker, etc. Take it out to my BLM land secret spot to shoot and............click click. Then BANG....then click again. Very disappointing.
THANK GOD FOR AR-15.COM!!! I do a little blog research and THERE IT IS: MY HAMMER SPRING IS UPSIDE DOWN!!!!! The spring "legs" need to be under the pin centerline, for a lack of a better description. Just got to give a shout of THANKS to all of you who help us Black Rifle Newbies out. If this helps someone, great! Been shooting for 42 or so years and I'm not used to having to assemble a rifle.....I remember the day when you could buy one assembled and it would go bang....but then again I live in Kalifornia and I reemember when you could buy a gun at Thrifty's.
