hi , i have a question the ar 15 lost the takedown pin and my buddy put a screw like the photo below and the rifle make the clack but can't shoot

they think that it could have been the screw installed my buddy ?

the screw is like this

you think that she could have been the screw that does not work rifle ???

If I had to guess, I would say that the bolt you used was the wrong size and it's allowing to much movement.

Of course if you were willing to use a bolt like that, it's possible you may have messed up something while assembling the rest of the rifle.
