| Hey so I had some issues with my dpms 308 extractor. I took it apart and everything is working fine now but I took the extractor spring out. The 308 uses a spring with a smaller spring as an insert. Is it possible to install this extractor spring upside down? Anyone know? The spring doesnt seem to have a bigger vs smaller end to it. |

I do not have experience with the DPMS, but it sounds like the old system that ArmaLite had used a while ago.
So if it is, the answer to your question is no. It should go in either direction, just be very careful of the smaller spring when putting it back together so it does not fall out on ya. |
