Enoght to melt the loctite, not the barrel. Don't think you are going to do it with the wife's hair dryer though. Get one of those small propane torches and do it a little at a time.

If you are talking a Brake, or FS device on a barrel shorter than 16", it's either pinned or has been silver soldered on for a ban or non-SBR purpose.

If just a standard barrel (one that would not be SBR or was braked because of a ban), then make sure that you are vise blocking the barrel when you go to remove it.  Also to point out, don't over torque to remove such, or you will bend/warp the barrel.

A loctite bond is broken at around 600* (propane torched kept moving), where as a silver solder doesn't start to flow/release until around 1500* (mapp gas torch at least and you will need to get the FS to a dull red before the FS will start to spin off).

Bottom line is give us details on the barrel (make, length and what specific device you are removing), and we can better direct you if and how it should be removed.

Measure your barrel. It may be a 14.5" with a permanent mounted flash hide (Pinned and/or soldered).

silver solder is about 850 f, green loctite, the best is 430 f or so. I think the red is 300 but don't remember, it's on
their website.

Double check your temp on the silver solder flow point!!!
Batf required that it has a melting/flow point of at least  1450* to be a legal means of  length'g a barrel with an end device.
