| Installed a Vltor Low Profile Gas block and set the screws in place. Now I want to move the gas block but it is being stubborn! I removed the screws but the gas block just wont budge. Any ideas? I was thinking about soaking it in break free but I'm hoping someone will have a better idea. |

Loctite from the allen screws has seep between the block and barrel. Use a heat gun to heat the gas block above 650* to break the bond, then a non-marring rubber mallet to walk the barrel forward. Also keep in mind that the loctite on the in side of the gas block will scrap/mar the parkerizing surface farther forward on the barrel as it it being drifted forward. |
