I've just come back from the first range trip with my newest build. I got a new BM Varmint Upper (Stainless, 24 inch barrel) mated to a Saber Defense Lower with some plastic goodies from Magpul. I have a Zeiss Conquest scope mounted on a LaRue SPR mount. While trying to zero the gun, I ran out of Windage adjustment on the scope. It's cranked to the left as far as it would go and I'm still 2 inches to the right of zero at 60 yards. The mount is new, I made sure it was mounted tight. The scope should be fine, I had it mounted on a different rifle with Warne rings and bases and it was fine. So the scope is fine, I never heard of a bad mount from LaRue so it is my Upper? Can the barrel be mounted incorrectly from the factory? What's my next option? |
