| I just about finished a new rifle build, it at least enough to break in my barrel. Any way here is the problem. oh... I also bought some new c-prod. 20rn. mags and brought one to the range with me not planning to do a lot of shooting. I inserted a mag pulled the charging handle back and release it the bolt was retained by the bolt stop. I than released the bolt. Than I inserted a full mag and pulled back the charging handle and the bolt stop would not engage. I could make it catch the bolt if I did it by hand so that is what I did. than released it the bolt loaded a round I fired it, the bolt than was not picking up another round on it's forward movement what is going on? I need your help is it the mags? bolt stop? Thanks for any input. |

The mag follower will only raise the bolt stop when the mag is empty, hence the device is a last round hold open device. Down load the mag a few rounds and see if it's still a problem. Could be that the mag needs to loosen up a bit (spring, follower mate to the inside of the body, and the bottom of the feed lips debur through live fire. |
