[ARCHIVED THREAD] - Trigger assembly

Newbie here, 1st dpms lower assembly. The function is correct per manuals but, I feel that the disconnector spring creates binding ( might not be a good explanation) when the hammer is all the way rearward. The disconnector to the trigger slot is good. I might be paranoid, looking for some assurance. Alot of force to get the hammer all the way back or engaged when checking for proper op. I do not want to damage my new upper.

Disco spring installs with the large coil downward into the rear trigger slot., not small coil side down.

Thanks. I tried to install the disconector spring large side down, appears that it was not possible. I'll give it another go at it.

It installs large side down to keep it from falling out.
