I received my new CAA stock two weeks ago. I noticed the stock wouldn't adjust properly. I turned it over and noticed where the adjustment lever is there is a nut on what appears to be a small all thread which are holding the lever in place. Well mine is missing the little pin that runs through the nut an all thread that keeps the nut from moving and the lever from getting out of adjustment. What type of pin can I use to put through the nut? I called CAA and told them it was missing when i got it,they never called me back. How can i fix this? Thanks

Some levers nuts do not use a through pin, and on these, loctite is used to secure the nut to the threads.

If the nut is currently loctited (read threads turns with the threads ), here is the run down to readjust the nut.

Pull all the way out on the lever (the whole lever, and not just cam to one side) and pull the butt stock off the back of the tube.  Now while reaching inside the butt stock to hold the threaded detent post, spin the nut off the threads to break the bond.  Put the nut back on the threads, and reinstall the butt stock back on the tube (read bolt will turn with the detent staying stationary, and again, you have to pull all the way out on the lever to allow the detent to clear the back of the tube channel stop lip).

Now install a little loctite on the detent threads, and adjust the nut so the lever is just slightly  snug for all the detent/butt stock settings.  Let the loctite set up, and your done adjusting the lever nut.
Note: do go buck wild setting the lever too tight for all the setting.  You want the detent to seat all the way home in the tube detent holes, since if it does not, then the butt stock detent pin may want to walk out of tube detent holes from recoil when you fire the rifle.
