Took my ar out for the first time not so good so far i loaded 5 round into the mag and 3 shot had a ftf. It was clearing the first round and then the next round to be loaded in the chamber never made it there it was jammed into the side of the barrel or some where up there. damaged the round so bad could not be used anymore dented and bullet burried in the neck. did this every magazine i loaded. Also it was a orlite magazine do you think that is the problem?

Yes you have a problem but my money is on the magazine, not the weapon. Try a metal mag or a P-Mag.

If one mag feeds fine and the other two don't, you definitely have two bad mags. Pick up a NEW metal magazine or a NEW P-Mag and try it again. The operative word is NEW. That is the only way to rule out a feed lip problem with your orlite mags.
Don't junk the bad mags, they may work in another weapon just fine. Good luck and don't shoot to many eggs at your Easter egg hunt!!!!!
