I bought a single point sling and it's causing scratch marks on my AR-15 does anyone know of any sling adaptors that are off set or how to fix this problem. Thanks for anyones help.

+1  Those scratches are called "charactor"

Or try using some electrical tape.

Run a closed loop of paracord through the adaptor - clamp the single point sling to the cord.

Mine does too. You can tape it. I feel it's like the marks the brass leave on the deflector.  Is your castle nut staked on?

You need the sling attachement with the push button swivel.
