[ARCHIVED THREAD] - Out of spec FSB

Anybody ever see a gas tube hole out of spec on an FSB?
I was working on an AR yesterday that had the hole slightly undersized for the gas tube. Had to emory the gas tube to get it in. After a little work it went on in.
Guy said it was a Wilson barrel.

Tight is good, you can deal with that quickly.
It's when the hole is too large that you run into all kinds of problem that are not a quick fix.

Absolutely.
I've just never seen one that under diameter. It was an easy enough fix, and like you say much better than too big.
