| Mega lower, gator model; c-products mags and magpul pmags are binding badly. They do not drop free; I have to pull them with a good deal of force for them to drop. What can I do? I'm contemplating dremel + flap wheel but I don't want to take the finish out of the magwell. Anyone have any suggestions? |

update: (20 minutes later) Went to town on the mags themselves. Now they drop free. Still, i suspect there is an issue here with the magwell tolerances. Whos got a mega lower & a micrometer handy? From the groove in the front to the back of the magwell at the base i get about 2.593in. From the walls in the sides of the magwell front to back 2.385 give or take a thousandth or two, im not that precise. :] |
