Ok, I'm kinda confused and fustrated, with my Bushy M4 after my trip to the range. I remounted my scope down on the top rail, from a carry handle mount, and went to sight it in today. I of course bore sighted it with my laser bore sighter, and then started off at 25yds. My first group was about 4 1/2" high, so I adjusted, and was a shade low, and finally brought it dead in at 25 yds. about a 1" group. So I desided to go out to 100yds thinking if I'm dead on at 25yds I should be pretty damn close at 100. So I fire 3 shots at 100yds, and didn't even hit the paper!!! |

First, sighting dead on at 25 yards WILL put you way high at 100 yds. Not at all surprised you were shooting over the paper at 100 yds. Next time, sight in about 1.5" low at 25 yds, then move out to 50 yds, sight in dead on. Then move to 100 yds. Fine tune your groups to be about 1.75" high at 100 yds. This should put you back on zero at around 200 yds, and just a few inches low at 250 yds. |
