To make the HP's feed in the rifle without low feed jamming, stick a piece of a folded match book cover between the back of the mag and the well. This will cant the front of the mag upwards, and prevent the low feeding (HP tip striking the the upper receiver below the feed ramps). Note: it's not uncommon for a rifle to have HP feeding problems, hence the reason that one of the improvements to the M-4 was the extended ramps for such ammo. P.S. Welcome to the site!!! |

Oh yeah gun is a Armalite AR15a2 All stock accept for the trigger and hammer at the time it was using my friends full auto part (not mine I don't have that stuff). The mags are bushmaster 30rd and the ammo is American Eagle hp. The gun worked great on two 30rd bushmasters with American Eagle target ammo. |
i did these ramps at home with a dremel to fix the same problem, it feeds anything now, if you have any questions on doing it let me know

Well it jams every couple of rounds. I could only find hollow tip .233 rounds and it seems that due to the flat tip it wouldn't ramp. I have to remove the clip and pull the now defetive bullet out. It ends up jaming the whole tip into the casing.
