Have one 10.5 inch barrel (which got years ago) which shoots right 2.5" with the rear sights all the way left, appears the front sight is canted to the left slightly.

Thinking of trying to remount/rotate the current front sight tower, possible using tapered pins vs. straight  .... and/or using a new front sight tower.  Appreciate comments and ideas.

-----------------

Since a new barrel is $160 to $200 from Model 1, thinking it is not worth buying a PRI or Troy front sight for the small barrel diameter, just to use this barrel with my M16A1.

Besides the easy option of tossing back into the junk box (possible for use with 22LR and a red dot) or mounting my RAS II with a low profile gas block (home made since have no use for a canted front sight ;-)  always open to other ideas.

If the FSB is off index with the barrel extension pin, the only saving grace to the barrel would be to either use it scoped, or replace/reinstall the FSB.

If the FSB and the barrel extension pin are indexed together, then it time to either leather mallet rotate the barrel in the upper socket, or reinstall the barrel if that is your flavor.
