I was out shooting today and my Bushmaster XM15-E2S and a empty case got stuck in the barrel and i can't get my bolt open on anytihing its all froze up what do i do thanks |

Some say to pull on the charging handle, and slam the stock into the ground. I prefer to separate the upper and lower and put a flat-head screwdriver between the upper, and the BCG, and pry it open. Cover the head with electrical tape if you are worried about scratches. |

As started in the Service Operators Manuel, While pulling down on the charging handle, give the butt stock a blow to a hard surface to clear the jam. If you have a telescoping stock, the pull all the way down on the butt stoke release lever and pull the butt stock off the back of the receiver extension. With just the bare receiver extension, do the charging handle pull/ blow off the carpet to clear the jam. And if you haven't figured it out yet, the reason to pull the butt stock off the tube is if you don't make a square butt strike, you can bust the butt stock butt plate. |
