| Yesterday while zeroing a new eotech I had my Olympic CAR 15 double on me 3 times using Colt 20 round mags. This occured while shooting 100 rounds over 2 hours.(did not take that many to zero. Also should I zero at 25 or 50 yards. |

I had the same problem yesterday with my Sabre Defence M4. In difference to you I first checked the FAQ here. http://www.ar15.com/content/page.html?id=111 Might be due to the Two-Stage-Trigger that came build in the weapon by the manufacturer in my case. This has nothing to do with your mags. |
| I had mine double today after about 50 rounds tryed a 20 round mag a 30 rd. and a 40 rd all the same. It did not double every time only here and there. I have a PWA lower and a Bushmaster 2 stage trigger group. I removed upper and used brake clean on the trigger group but when holding trigger down and resiting hammer it will release every forth or fifth time. Help |

Both rifles need to be checked. Unit30, Sounds like either worn parts, receiver FCG holes being out of spec, and if needed, the FCG can be reset to work if the parts are still in good working order. Randycad, Could be the same in regards to the FCG receiver holes, or just the disco sticking in the trigger. For you, pull the FCG and confirm that the diso moves free in the trigger, and does not have a bur or piece of fouling binding it up. Also check to make sure that you are using a .154 FCG, and not a .171 pin size unit. If cleaning/checking the FCG does not solve the problem, then the FCG will need to be retimed. P.S. Guys, welcome to the site!!! |
