Running a LMT MRP with 14.5" barrel with LMT standard bolt carrier group. The buffer is showing marks like scratches across the buffer from just firing 130 rounds with no wear I could see on the bolt carrier. Is this normal?

scratched along the face? or in a circle?
you probably have a tiny bur on the bolt carrier and it is scratching it.
no worries. take a small file and trace along the edges of the bolt carrier, that should take care of it.

In a straight line from the center of the buffer to the end. I have inspected the bolt carrier and see no wear or burs at all. Just wondering what could be causing it???

scratches from the center of the buffer face to the edge of the buffer face are usually caused by the carrier when you pin the upper shut.
