I recently purchased a couple sets of the First Samco M44 full length handguards.  I'm trying to install them onto a Bushmaster Dissipator.  Well I got my stock handguards off just fine, but when I went to install my First Samco handguards I could only get the bottom one on (barely).  It  just doesn't seem as if there is enough room under the delta ring for the top handguard to fit into place.  Has anyone else ever experianced this type of problem with these handguards from First Samco, or am I the first?  Any helpful hints or remedies would be greatly appreciated concerning this matter.  Thank you in advance!

I had a set of the rifle length also.
Really tight fit on the RRA they were on.
Didn't think they were going to go on but they finally did.
Ended up having to use a hand guard tool and a rubber mallet to persuade them on.

If I remember right I had to put the top half on first.
Then slid the front of the lower piece in place, PRyed like hell down on the delta ring to start the back part. Once it was "started" I held down on the ring with the tool and used the rubber mallet to tap on the part closest to the delta ring until it snapped in.
It'll go but it sounds like your is going to really tight which is a plus.
Once it snaps in don't forget to tap the delta ring back into place.
They are made a little oversized so they will fit snug.

I had to do exactly what wulf did on my M1S upper. Put one on a bushmaster and I did it without the hammer, but it took 2 people. One holding down on the ring as much as humanly possible and me putting all my weight on the handguards to get them to snap in. Still had to tap the delta ring pretty good to get it back on though

Holy Crap,
I'm haveing the same problem with my YHM 2 pieces on my M4 here.  I'm thinking of returning them, but maybe I should save them until I get home to try it on my own rifle.
