Hello, I just got a new bushmaster dcm for xmas.  While breaking it in I came across a problem that seems to be magazine related.  The gun came with 2 10 round magz (they look like 20 rounds though).
My problem is that with the issued Bushmaster Mags one round will fire then when next round is loaded it will jam.  I labeled both mags 1 and 2 and tried with both magazines and came across same problem.  Also when the last round is fired the bolt doesn't lock back.  When I load bullets into the mag then unload them by hand, I can definately feel a place where they are grabbing on the mag.  it is one side (the same side for both).  have to really work the round out of the mag on that side.

I was thinking it might be a problem with the bolt since it happened with both mags, but I have no problems with loading or bolt locking  back after last round is fired with a friends 20 round mag.  So I am pretty sure it is both new mags.  On Tuesday I am going back to range and will be able to try the mags in friends ar-15.

Any ideas or help would be helpfull.  and thanks in advanced

Yeah. You're in Georgia, which allows standard capacity magazines, AFAIK.

1. Buy 30rd USGI magazines.

2. Buy a roll of twine.

3. Go to range.

4. Hang up the two 10rd magazines with the twine, through the magazine catch hole.

5. Shoot them using your new, properly functioning magazine.

Ditto, for 10 round mags, there not worth the headache to make then run.

If your going to use the rifle for DCM matches I suggest the use or USGI 20 rounders. they will allow a lower prone postion and  you be using the mag as a monopod big nono in dcm matches.
