Here are 2 pics of the cam pin from my Bushmaster that has had 1370 rounds through it. These were all my handloads that are not hot. I've been handloading for ALMOST 50 years for many rifle and hand gun calibers, so I think I know what I'm doing. All shooting with this Bushy has been slow fire from a bench. I have been loading mostly 40, 50 and 60 grain bullets. Now the question is: does this look like normar wear or is there a problem? I did not have the pin maganfloxed, but with a magnifying glass the pin does not SEEM to be cracked, but I replaced it to be on the safe side. TIA for your input. http://outcast.homeunix.org/uploads/PICT0286.JPG |

I have the same problem with mine...I have about 4k rounds through mine so far. I noticed it when I was cleaning at about 2k rounds fired. I plan in using it until failure. I dont know how loose or how "ground" it can get with out hurting the firing pin, or the blot carrier group. I dont remember my Service M16a2 having this problem. But I got it now on my civi version.
