| I have a DPMS Carbine with the 11.5" bbl and 5.5" FH. The rifle feeds and extracts fine, but it will only lock the bolt back randomly, it might lock it back 2 or 3 times and then not at all for a couple times in a row. I've used 6 different new 30rd mags, they are marked NHMTG on the bottom plate and it happens with them all, the rifle is throughly cleaned before I shoot and that includes the bolt catch, I use Break Free CLP. The ammo I am useing is Federal American Eagle 55gr FMJ, I've got some Federal XM193 on order to see if that helps, I have 560 rounds through the rifle so far. I forgot sometimes the bolt catch will catch on the front of the bolt carrier where it strips the next round from the mag, if I hold in the bolt catch it will lock the bolt back correctly but will sometimes catch the carrier also. Need help, what do you think. Thanks. |
