What is the best way to reseat trigger guard roll pin?

I've got it about flush with receiver, but it won't "counter-sink" into place like it was before. The 3/32" punch that I'm using should do the trick, but it's not.

Any suggestions? Is there a special tool for this?

Oh yeah, I lubed the roll pin w/ oil prior to trying to reseat it, and even made sure that the roll pin end wasn't flared out.

Thanks.

When working with roll pins, I will roll file the ends to break the sharp outer leading edges.  This allows the lubed pin to be driven without the either ends binding/grabing any edge, And prevents the driven end  from peenning/mushrooming.

Another tip when installing the trigger gaurd roll pin is to make sure to back up the non-driven side/bottom tab.  Without backing up the other side, then the driving force can cause one of the tabs to be broken off since each stroke is just flexing the  tab (receiver body only suported). If nothing else, a plastic block works fine as a suport block under the gaurd tab.
