Hello,

I have an MGI interchangeable mag lower with a stamp on it.
So don't want to invest in new lower and wait a year for new stamp.

Any videos or DIY tutorials or threads abour skeletonizing your AR.

Would love to see what others have done before milling on mine.

Any places for anodizing that you would recommend, afterwards.

Thanks
Nitro

Dang, I'd be nervous milling on a stamped lower. Are you just going to be milling on the mag well area?

There is a thread on the first page here titled "light weight build" where a forum member is doing just as you described.

If you move forward take pics!

+1, I mean if you screw up, you're going to have to wait for another one.

I did find that thread after posting.
I was not sure if it was just a build using bought light weight parts!
Turned out to be exactly what I was looking for.

Any other ones out there?

I think for the amount of work he did, there should be little or no risk.
I am not going radical.
I want the trigger pocket to stay enclosed.

I may go more open on the mag well area.

This thing is a tank.

Thanks Nitro
