I found this 16" barrel in a box while digging.
I don't remember buying it. It looks new.
It looks like a dark grey color.
I usually don't buy heavy barrels.
The code on it is "L 5.56 NATO 1/9"
It has a non-F marked FSB.
Can some one tell me who made it.

Ignore the A2 upper, I just put it on there for grins.
(I bought this from HKiller many years ago. )
not sure what I am going to do with it yet.
I put the flash hider on it to protect the threads.

I am fairly certain I remember those as being an ESS barrel.

Every barrel I've bought from ESS (40+)  was marked similarly in 5.56

It has been in storage for many years.

I don't know anything about ESS barrels, but this gives me a place to start searching.
Are they any good?

There may be a couple more in storage.
I will look some more.

Found some write ups on them.
Nothing special about them I could find.
Looks like they will make some good Truck style guns.
Works for me.
