So, I have a Wilson bull barrel inbound and I'm a little concerned about the 1.05" o.d. of this barrel and barrel nut fit. I've done some googling and there are a couple manufacturers with barrel nuts that allegedly fit, like Hogue and YHM.
I see some guys have honed out their existing nut to make it fit, which was my original plan. But, before I move forward, I want to get some expert opinions on going this route. I've also included a pic of my barrel nut. My main concern with honing this nut is the width of the flange or ring. Then again, maybe I'm overthinking it...?
