All said and done, harbor freight is close enough without spending big bucks.  If its a one time effort, borrow one or pay a 'Smith.

I got a 3/8" drive from autozone on sale for $30'
1/2" drive one for $15 from HFT

check out youtube for comparisons of big $$ vs HFT torque wrench, they all work

I use a Harbor Freight for upper work and a Wheeler Fat wrench for the small things.

Yep, Harbor Freight. Recently bought a 1/2 drive on sale for $12. Wrench I'm sure it's not as accurate as a $250 Snap-On Tool, but for torquing a barrel nut where the torque spec is 50 ft lb spread it works just fine.

Wheeler Fat Wrench works well for scope mounting an any other inch lb jobs.
