| I have put a few builds together in the past but I am having issues with installing the hammer and pin in the lower. The pin keeps getting hung up on the J spring inside the hammer. I have used a vice and rubber mallet with some light oil but I cant get the pin past the J spring. Any ideas to help me out? I was thinking of just buying a new hammer. The LPK is from CMMG. |

Have you verified it's the hammer/ J spring and not the spring? I would try another FCG pin, if it won't go in, then just get a new hammer.
I have seen this issue before. Some will say just dremel it out and use anti-walk pins, but that is rubbish. Hell, a new hammer will run you under $20 anyways. |
