Was thinking about picking this up to start my 1st AR/AR build http://palmettostatearmory.com/psa-16-heavy-5-56-nato-side-chg-m-lok-freedom-with-bcg-ch-77932401.html I like the side charging handle instead of the rear. If I got this what would be the pros and cons? Sorry for the newbie questions  BTW I plan on using the rifle in SHTF, I would use this as a start and build on this. |

Since it's for SHTF.... The biggest con will be interchangeability of parts with other Ar15s. Everyone (to include uncle Sam) runs DI standard setups. solution However... just take someone else's upper. But the pros... ugh.... it's different?
Fuck!n buy it! It's your first ar11teen fully coolomatic machine killer assault rifle.
