Looking for info on overall LENGTH  of a gas block .... i was given a barrel that was shortend to 1/2 of an inch past the front sight  base... i have no idea why but it was a freebie...  a shorter gas block would allow for more length to thread

ours are .850, which is about as short as they come.



the gas tube protrudes another couple of thou past that
