As title indicates I am looking for a reciprocating side charge bolt carrier group.
Young MFG pretty much never in stock any place and I cannot find anyone else people can agree on is a solid go to 2nd choice. Any suggestions? |

Have you contacted Young? I have always purchased mine directly from them.

Fulton Armory GTG? Anyone have experience with those? They give zero specs on their site for it (grade of material used or such) and nothing much turned up on searching for recent reviews. Older reviews are mixed but a number of years old. (ETA: Sent an email to see if they could provide some additional info.)
2 Vet Arms does not sell only the BCG and I already have an upper. Appreciate the suggestion though. I have not called Young recently (last 2-3 weeks), last I did they had said they are waiting on parts back from coating. Their site shows both complete and stripped side charge BCGs out of stock. (ETA: Sent an email to see if they have any available again and their site is just not up to date.) |
| I bought two AR pistols from Bear Creek Arsenal a couple of years ago & they have side charge handles mounted directly to the bolt so they recirocate. They're advertising side charge uppers so a phone call might be in order to see if they'll sell a BCG. |

I will give Bear Creek a call and see what they say.
KE Arms is a Young MFG bcg and back ordered. With the lack of availability thus far I probably will be sending Keystone Accuracy a standard bcg to modify. Someone suggested them (on another site) because they already do a similar process building/ machining left side charge uppers. Sent an email and got a prompt response... price is reasonable and they have good feedback. |
