Has anyone used Anderson parts for an upper build?  ( http://www.andersonrifles.com/ )  I want to put together a 20 or 24 inch upper and they seem to have decent prices and selection.  Just want any opinions on parts from them.

The upper receiver, forward assist, dust cover, and A2 flash hider on my "el-cheapo" SBR are Anderson. They look and work just as nicely as any others.

I continue to have problems with my Anderson parts build.

Make sure to triple check everything is bur free on the gas system

I am still thinking gas hole in barrel is undersized.

Also think about color matching of upper to a different lowering

Nothing wrong with the upper parts kit from Anderson.

I believe he is just asking about the upper parts kit, not a complete build kit.

Also you are not going to get color matching uppers and lowers in any manufacture unless they were both anodized on the same rack at the same time.

I've had no problems with the quality of the Anderson parts I got from my LGS to build a few rifles.

SS gas tubes for carbine gas
LoPro steel gas blocks
Anderson stripped uppers/lowers

I actually prefer Anderson upper parts kits. They are one of the few that actually pin the FA cap on (PSA's kits are not).
