I built a 6.5 Grendel awhile back and ended up taking the gun apart to build another gun.

I've spent the past few weeks getting parts together and recently finished the gun for a second time. Cerakote is Patriot Brown and done by me.

Some of the parts-

Vltor upper
Seekins lower
Alexander arms 18" barrel/matched bolt
SLR rail
Spikes BCG
UBR stock
Ergo grip
Leupold MK4 6.5-20 in Larue mount

Some of the build pictures-

Finished product-

If it will stop raining I hope to be ringing steel past 800 yards this weekend.

Very curious how barrel shoots.  Looking at purchasing that exact barrel.  Nice looking build.

Beautiful.  What load will you be using?

Any of the 123gr pills will hit 800 all day long.

I got bored shooting 1000yds with mine last weekend.

Take some video if you can, through the spotting scope.

Plug in your barometric pressure, temp, and the actual BC of the projectile you're using.

123gr AMAX is .468 G1, 123gr SST is .462 G1.

123gr SMK is .522

123gr Scenar is .527

You should be somewhere around 2500fps from an 18" barrel.

I'll be shooting 123 grain Hornady loads to start.

I have Lapua brass, 123 grain Hornady and SMK bullets in route.

FYI- your post in GD is what led to me finally building this.

It's kind of difficult to show that process. The dust from sand blasting and over spray as both things I don't want on my camera.

Amazing rifle, I always enjoy when you share pictures.

Looking forward to seeing how it performs.
