just got a set of Troy Folding Battle Sights

Now this might just be the dumbest question ever asked on here but here goes.

Do the front and rear sight flip up from the muzzle towards the rear? They seem correct to me but this is my first go round with some assembly necessary...

thought i should ask prior to loc tight.

they mount so when you shoulder the rifle you can read the writing.
