So I just got a SLR adjustable has block  and was wonder if loctite is needed for the screw that holds the leaf spring in.  Maybe I'm over thinking things but would hate for that screw to back out.

My thoughts...

If it needed locktite, they would apply it when it is assembled by the manufacturer.

Gas blocks can get very hot... and heat is used to free fasteners that have been installed with locktite.

So... it does not seem logical to remove the screw to apply locktite.

YMMV

Have never loctited any of my SLR adjustable blocks and no issues.

If we're talking that level of OCD (and I can sympathize) then perhaps an adjustable gas block isn't warranted. If it's a life critical gun, don't use one. If it isn't, don't worry about it.

My SLR GB has had no issues under 308 fire.

SLR has shipped thousands of these things and doesn't have screws backing out.  If they did, they would've fixed the design.  Don't worry about.  Quit messing.
