Hey guys.
I was given a DPMS DCM Free Float A2 hand guard. The problem is, when the previous owner removed it from his rifle, he unscrewed the barrel nut / delta ring while the free float sleeve was still attached. He says that he didn't mean to do that - he was using a strap wrench to try to remove the sleeve. But, the barrel nut loosened and came off. He said that he always meant to figure out some way to remove the float sleeve, but never did and was tired of looking at it, so he gave it to me. Any suggestions on how I can remove the sleeve from the barrel nut / delta ring? I would like to use the hand guard. Thanks! Brad |
