Has anyone used there lowers and uppers? Someone posted that if they fit you eye that Is all you need.
I like the look of these. Are they good quality? Thanks |

They are GTG. I really like their M4E1 uppers. If you like the look of their proprietary handguards, that's the way to go; it's basically like owning a monolithic upper.
The lowers have a tension screw already built in and they also have a threaded hole to capture the rear takedown spring...a very nice feature. Check Schuyler Arms for some great prices on Aero receivers and receiver sets. http://www.schuylerarmsco.com/ |

Still in the process of assembling my first (see question about barrels!), but my AP lower, upper, and BCG all appear to fit together very nicely. Also, nice looking anodizing, no sign of messy machine work.
So, I'll echo what everyone else is saying -- quality product. |

Bought a AP stripped lower...completed it with LaRue MBT trigger and CMMG mag/bolt catch parts. Mated with AP 1/8 SS Wylde chamber
Upper with AP SS bolt and bolt group. All went together as if they were one complete rifle. Quality and QC all exceptional. My problem...my reloads would not chamber. The 1/8 SS Wylde chamber was too tight. Factory rounds were not a problem. I resized my reloads with small base .223 dies and they now chamber. Accuracy from this rifle is awesome! |

I got a QPQ 16" middy FSB barrel from them the other week and have several bare upper receivers, all
just fine. The fit and finish was as good or better than anything I've ever seen that wasn't custom or crazy money. I dunno why they don't get more airtime than they do. I had to replace the triangle handguard cap with a round one to use the newer magpul SL handguards, the FSB taper pins were textbook, tight but nothing crazy, the FSB was straight, the triangle cap looked like a quality part in every way unlike the DSA round one I put on there. The DSA cap is ok but it's finish is meh and the stamping isn't nearly as nice as the AP triangle is fwiw. The more I buy from AP the more confidence I have in them. |

Building my first AP as well as my first AR in .308...waiting on muzzle break then she'll be done. Started with Aero Precision Builder Set, upper, lower and rail...looks great, fitment is spot on. Can't wait to finish her!
