I'm in the process of building a 7.62x39 AR and I have a 12.5" rail. What length of barrel would I need to have the muzzle be flush with the end of the rail? The muzzle threads would be the only part of the barrel to extend past the end of the rail. 13 inches?

Well, the barrel might need to be a bit longer , unless you want to make an SBR or pistol.

If you find a 14.5" x39 barrel, please post it, been looking for one for some time.
